The bodies of two Venezuelan nationals, whose murder-suicide killings were discovered at their residence in the capital on Saturday, are still being investigated by police, according to their statement.
According to the police, Yuni Zamora Castro, 25, had fourteen stab wounds, and her 60-year-old husband, El Tio, had nine knife wounds to his chest on his body.
The police released a statement saying, “Investigations have so far revealed that the two deceased persons were reputed husband and wife, and they were living in a two-storey concrete house…with several other Venezuelan nationals.”
According to the statement, Yuni told El Tio approximately four days ago that she didn’t want the 25-year-old because he was really envious. The 42-year-old Venezuelan woman claimed to have known the 25-year-old as a friend and coworker.
According to the authorities, the witness told them that El Tio approached his wife brandishing a knife and gave her multiple body stabs.
El Tio was observed hanging from the house’s roof, while Yuni Zamora Castro was seen face up on the ground when the police were called.
“After the body was examined, it was determined that Yuni Castro had fourteen stab wounds, while El Tio had nine stab wounds to his chest area,” the statement read. “Investigations are ongoing.” “They were both pronounced dead by Dr. Pluck from Georgetown Public Hospital.”
