After falling to Jordan Love and the young Green Bay Packers at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, in the opening round of the NFL playoffs the previous season, the Dallas Cowboys were predicted to make some significant offseason changes in order to return with a vengeance in 2024.
Though longstanding team owner and general manager Jerry Jones made a promise, the Cowboys essentially did nothing in terms of re-signing veteran running back Ezekiel Elliott during NFL free agency.
Due to the Cowboys’ apparent reluctance to make significant offseason changes, the focus shifted to America’s Team tending to its finest players—Dak Prescott, CeeDee Lamb, and Micah Parsons—on both sides of the ball.
The Cowboys agreed to lucrative long-term contract extensions with Prescott and Lamb, but Parsons is still without a new deal. This went place during the course of the NFL offseason.
Parsons, the only one of the three stars without a long-term contract, appears happy with his circumstances and is aware that Dallas is where he will play for the foreseeable future, according to Bleacher Report.
Parsons remarked, “I know I’m going to be a Cowboy.
In addition to Parsons appearing to be okay without a new contract before the 2024 NFL season got underway last week, the Cowboys just defeated the Cleveland Browns with a strong performance from their defense, which was headed by the youthful superstar.
Dallas may be in for a fantastic season full of promise if Parsons is happy with his circumstances and plays at a high level.
