The murder of 29-year-old Alexis Roxanne Harris of Free and Easy, West Bank Demerara, is the charge against James Lord, also known as “Jamesy,” a 34-year-old sawmill operator from Soesdyke, who was taken into custody on September 8, 2024.
According to a statement from the police, the accusation was read to the accused when he appeared before her magistrate, Rhondell Weever, this morning. He was remanded to prison without being asked to enter a plea. Next court date: October 8, 2024.
